CO-OP
We’re all familiar with the Co-Op - whether you’re shopping for groceries, filling up the tank, travelling or even banking. The brand is nationally recognised and has a reputation for being reliable and affordable; ‘here for you for life’. When Parable was approached as a specialist firm to create new totem signage, we were absolutely thrilled. Our experience in creating memorable and high quality digital displays made us the perfect candidate for the project.
The Brief
To develop concepts and full sets of manufacturing details for their new totem digital displays in preparation for a national roll out.
Our Results
We had a number of considerations to make during the planning of this project. As this was a roll out on a national scale, we knew these structures needed to be transported as easily as possible to ensure timescales were met at a reasonable cost. It wouldn’t have done to require fleets of transport vehicles if an alternative was available.
Like with any large electrical structure, we knew we needed to consider good ventilation and weatherproof materials in our design. After all, most of these totems would be seriously up against the elements.
With all of these factors in mind, we got stuck right in and came up with several design and technical iterations before we settled on the final design.
The finished product consisted of a modular structure so transportation and assembly were simple no matter the location. Not only this, it remained bang on brand (important for such a recognisable business).
