Maple
When you enter any bar or restaurant, it’s about more than just the food. You want an experience. So when we had the opportunity to help with Maple in Westfield shopping centre in White City, we couldn’t wait to get stuck in.
The Brief
Design a modern, user friendly bar. The atmosphere needed to match the target audience and create the cool ambience the bar company was looking for.
The Plan
In a collaboration with the architects, we were given the task of designing the metalwork, fixed and loose furniture and overall structures before the big reveal.
With any major commercial project like this, there’s usually a number of iterations before you get to the final product.
Armed with the architect’s vision, we went to design the gantry banquet seating as well as the metalwork structures and daringly lavish bar amongst signage and architectural features.
In terms of manufacturing, we knew it was going to be a technical job using some of the best technology and processes.
The Results
After a lot of hard work, we were absolutely thrilled with the final result. The modern, sleek bar and restaurant area was a welcoming place for customers with our metalwork in the seats and internal and external structures being a stand out feature.
The bar and kitchen were finished to a standard any professional chef and bartender would be happy to dive into.
